As a PRN RN at Minden Medical Center, you will engage in a variety of daily responsibilities aimed at delivering exceptional patient care. Expect to provide direct nursing assessments, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed. Requirements for this RN job

To thrive as a PRN RN at Minden Medical Center, you will need a strong foundation in nursing skills and an unwavering commitment to patient care. A current RN licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing is essential, along with AHA CPR certification to ensure patient safety during critical moments. While at least a year of medical/surgical experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement; your willingness to learn and adapt will be highly valued.

Proficiency in utilizing healthcare software and tools is important, as you will be responsible for documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records. Certifications such as ACLS and/or PALS will enhance your skill set, enabling you to respond effectively to emergency situations. Overall, your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and demonstrate empathy will be vital to your success in this role.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
• Current RN licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• AHA CPR certification
• At least a year of medical/surgical experience is preferred
