The Ridge Recovery Center is a new, advanced facility located at 289 Windham Rd Willimantic (10534) dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance use disorders. We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse who can make a significant difference in the lives of our clients. In this rewarding role, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to provide exceptional care to individuals on their path to recovery. Key Responsibilities: • Assess clients’ conditions and administer medications. • Manage withdrawal symptoms and provide direct nursing care. • Educate clients about their health, wellness, and recovery. • Utilize therapeutic skills to motivate and support individuals in reaching their treatment goals. Qualifications: • Current CT RN license. • Minimum of Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred). • CPR & AED certification required within six months of employment. • Preferred certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. • Minimum of one year of nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred. • Experience in related fields such as CNA or Mental Health Worker desirable for new graduates.
