Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our new state-of-the-art facility, The Ridge Recovery Center, located at 289 Windham Rd, Willimantic (10534).
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients on their journey to recovery. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing clients' conditions and needs.
• Administering prescribed medications.
• Managing withdrawal symptoms effectively.
• Providing direct nursing care and health education to clients.
• Offering encouragement and motivation to help clients achieve their treatment goals.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong therapeutic interpersonal skills and a commitment to advocating for the health and wellness of our clients.
Qualifications:
• Valid CT RN license.
• Minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR & AED certification required within six months of employment.
• Accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is preferred, or in the process of obtaining.
• At least one year of nursing experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Experience as a CNA, Mental Health Worker, or related field is a plus for newly graduated nurses.
