Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental needs and consistent with state nursing standards. Working collaboratively with medical providers and care team members, you will provide comprehensive and compassionate care based on established nursing models, serving as an advocate for patients and their families.
• Perform medical procedures and document care properly in patient records.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Guide patients towards healthy lifestyle choices and self-management strategies.
• Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and meet quality measures.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver personalized patient treatment plans.
Qualifications
• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of starting.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Diploma in Nursing required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be secured within 1 year of employment.
