Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurology Case Manager & Systems Lead
$140,000/year | Full-Time | Hybrid (Berkeley/Oakland/Bay Area)
Neurology clinical expertise required; this is not a bedside or generalist RN role.
We’re hiring a Neurology-focused RN Case Manager to review medical records, support care coordination, and help strengthen clinical workflows as patient volume grows. This is a structured, non-bedside role for nurses with experience in caring for chronic neurological and neurodegenerative populations.
What Sets This Role Apart
• Clinical neurology expertise is critical (this is not a general RN role)
• Lead systems, SOPs, and care workflows for a scaling chronic-neuro care model
• Supervise and mentor LPNs, ensuring documentation meets clinical + Medicare compliance
• Hybrid after initial onboarding
Registered Nurse (RN) Core Responsibilities
• Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in patient outreach, tasking, and documentation
• Review, approval, and sign off on care plans, time-based activity logs, and billing-related documentation
• Conduct periodic patient check-ins, manage clinical escalations, and serve as a liaison with partner neurologists
• Maintain excellent documentation standards in EMRs and digital health platforms
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional workflow optimization discussions
Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements
• Active California RN license
• 2+ years of clinical experience managing chronic neurological conditions
• Experience reviewing medical records and writing clinical summaries
• Comfort building systems and leading independent clinical initiatives
Compensation & Schedule
• $135k - $145k / year
• Performance-based incentives are tied to patient outcomes and the quality of care.
