Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuroscience Ambulatory Care Location: Edison, NJ Area (08818) Employment Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week Schedule: Monday–Friday • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM No weekends, no holidays, no on-call Compensation: • Travel: $2,426.50 per week • Local: $2,025 per week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuroscience Ambulatory Care to join a high-performing outpatient neuroscience practice in the Edison, NJ area. This role is ideal for neuro-focused RNs looking to transition from bedside care into a structured, patient-centered ambulatory setting. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing complex neurological patients while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment • Conduct age- and disease-specific assessments with a focus on neurological, physiologic, and cognitive status Triage & Care Management • Manage patient calls, symptom triage, and coordination of care • Support medication protocols and provide expert nursing evaluations Patient & Family Education • Educate patients and caregivers on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and care pathways Technology-Enabled Practice • Utilize electronic health records and bar-code scanning systems to ensure accurate documentation and safe medication administration Continuum of Care • Coordinate multidisciplinary care, discharge planning, and safe outpatient transitions Requirements • Licensure: Active New Jersey (NJ) RN License • Experience: Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience (or active Nurse Residency participation) • Specialty Experience: Prior Neuroscience nursing experience required • Education: BSN preferred (or willingness to obtain within 3 years) • Certification: BLS required • Skills: Strong triage ability, medication management, independent clinical judgment, and critical thinking Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Epilepsy and/or General Neurology outpatient settings For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
