Actual compensation will be based on the candidate's education, skills, and experience. Summary of Job Function: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care within the guidelines set by the Nurse Practice Act and uphold ethical standards defined by the ANA code of ethics. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, collaborating with healthcare teams, and promoting evidence-based practices. Qualifications: Required: • ASN or Nursing Diploma • 1-2 years of experience in a specialty area • Strong communication and organizational skills • Proficient computer skills Certifications and Licenses Required: • BLS and ACLS certification • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License • Valid N.J. State Driver's License Preferred: • BA/BS/BSN Degree • Clinical experience from NLN accredited school • Screening Certification eligibility • National Certification Essential Functions: • Ensure safety and uphold evidence-based practices while advancing personal and team knowledge. • Report safety concerns and medical errors promptly. • Maintain knowledge of the patient population served. • Oversee and delegate tasks to team members effectively. • Prioritize interventions with measurable outcomes to improve patient care. • Utilize nursing processes to create individualized care plans for patients.
