Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | Multiple Units Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: Night Shift Only | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours/week (0.9 FTE) We are hiring experienced Registered Nurses for multiple night-shift openings at a Level II Trauma, teaching hospital in Chicago. These are direct-hire, benefited roles with strong leadership support, competitive pay, and growth opportunities. Current Openings • Med/Surg – Cardiac Telemetry RN • Float Pool RN (Med/Surg) • Observation Unit RN Placement will be based on experience, interest, and unit needs. What You’ll Do • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams • Utilize EPIC EMR • Maintain safety, quality, and evidence-based practice standards Schedule & Requirements • Night shift only: 7p–7:30a • 36 hours/week • Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights) • Rotating holidays • No on-call Qualifications • Active Illinois RN license • BLS/CPR required • ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by unit (or within 6 months of hire) • Experience requirements vary by unit: • Med/Surg Tele: 1+ year acute care (Cardiac Tele requires experience) • Float Pool: 1+ year recent acute Med/Surg (no new grads) • Observation: 1+ year Cardiac Tele or ER preferred • ADN required (BSN preferred) Compensation & Incentives • Base pay: $36.00–$55.80/hr (experience-based) • Night shift differential: Discussed during interview • Weekend night differential: Discussed during interview • Sign-on bonus: $10,000 • Tuition reimbursement up to $5,000/year • Full benefits package • Scrubs provided Orientation • Hospital & nursing education orientation (Mon–Fri, days) • Unit-based precepted orientation (8–12 weeks) • Night RNs orient on days initially If you’re a strong night-shift RN who values teamwork, stability, and growth—this is a solid move.
