
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room in Bantam, CT
Job Description
Shift Detail: Full time 40hr OR RN position; Ambulatory Surgery Center hours of operation M-F 6:30-7:30pm

Role Overview:
As an OR Nurse, you will excel as both a Circulator and Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room. Your mission will be to organize and deliver individualized, professional patient care. You will ensure that nursing care aligns with the hospital's objectives, policies, and the standards set forth by AORN, ASPAN, and SGNA. Engagement in patient education and quality improvement activities is key, along with a commitment to addressing the specific needs and behaviors of diverse patient age and cultural groups.
Qualifications:
• Valid CT RN License
• BSN preferred
• BLS Certification required; ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months if not currently certified
• 1 year of acute care; two years of surgical experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with physicians and staff
• Strong organizational skills
