Some of our unique benefits we offer include: • Student Loan Debt Relief • Tuition Reimbursement Programs • Paid Time Off (PTO) • 401k • Identity Theft Protection • Pet Insurance Job Summary: • Acts as an intermediary between the operating room staff and other hospital staff • Ensures that the surgical room is sterile and safe for the patient • Works side by side with scrub nurses to help maintain the sterile field in the operating room • Prepares the patient for the procedure and handles the preparation for the operating room after the surgery takes place • Must have a strong attention to detail and physical stamina to handle long, arduous work hours • Assess the patient’s condition after a surgical procedure. Assesses the needs of the patient during the procedure, to ensure the best outcome • Works with a physician to develop the care plan for the patient during the surgery • Continues to evaluate the patient after the procedure Qualifications: • 1+ years of experience required • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing • Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) • Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky • Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
