Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team. The OR RN will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment, assisting surgeons, and ensuring optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery. Job Responsibilities • Prepare the operating room for surgeries, ensuring proper instruments, equipment, and supplies are available. • Assess patient condition before surgery and verify surgical consent, allergies, and medical history. • Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields. • Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to changes in vital signs or condition. • Coordinate postoperative recovery and hand-off communication to PACU staff. • Document all aspects of care according to regulatory and hospital guidelines. • Adhere to infection control practices, safety procedures, and OR protocols. • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications • Active and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state. • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room setting. • BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred. • Strong understanding of surgical asepsis and sterile technique. • Excellent communication, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills. • Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure environments.
