Location: Avera Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Night Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $48.50, depending on experience. Position Highlights LPN Requirements: An active LPN license in the practicing state. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive resident care based on physician prescriptions and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure all care plans are effectively communicated. • Develop and implement personalized nursing care plans by assessing residents' medical histories, conducting evaluations, and setting achievable care objectives. • Educate residents and families about health requirements, medications, and self-care practices while providing emotional and psychological support. • Regularly assess and reevaluate care plans by monitoring health outcomes and adjusting interventions as necessary. • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control policies, medication regulations, and organizational standards. • Ensure the operational readiness of care equipment and supplies by following maintenance procedures and placing orders as required. • Assist with the smooth admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents within the facility. • Coordinate workflow and support nursing assistants and other staff in delivering resident care. • Uphold ongoing nursing competence in accordance with leadership expectations. Essential Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) - Active license in the state of practice upon hire. Preferred Experience: • 1-3 years in a clinical or long-term care environment is desirable.
