Overview The role of the Registered Nurse is to provide high-quality patient care by implementing nursing knowledge in an effective and empathetic manner. As a critical member of the healthcare team, the RN collaborates with colleagues to deliver coordinated care and promotes best nursing practices. Responsibilities To ensure that patients receive the best possible care, the nursing staff must assess each patient's needs and condition before providing care on the assigned unit. Provides personalized nursing care plans by analyzing patients' medical histories and diagnostic results, ensuring all their healthcare needs are met. Conducts nursing interventions, such as dispensing prescribed medications and facilitating healing therapies to provide holistic patient care. Ensures that medical records are complete and adhere to industry regulations and organizational policies. Evaluates the efficacy of interventions on patients and pinpoints any further interventions needed to fulfill predetermined care targets. Collaborates with interdisciplinary specialists to ensure optimal care delivery. Completes assignments as instructed.
