Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery / Ambulatory | Pay Rate: $45 - $47/hr | Stockbridge, GA | Days
Pay Rate: $45 - $47/hr
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Location: Stockbridge, GA
Shift: Days | 3x12s (06:45 – 19:15)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Surgery / Ambulatory Operating Room team. This role provides high-quality perioperative nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing a wide range of outpatient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative care in an ambulatory OR setting
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during surgical procedures
• Perform pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery support
• Assist surgical teams with intraoperative care and workflow efficiency
• Follow Universal Protocol/Time-Out procedures and infection control standards
• Handle specimens per policy and document care in Epic (Pyxis, SBAR)
• Float within OR services as needed
• Participate in late case coverage and on-call rotation
Required Qualifications:
• Active RN license (Georgia or compact)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• BLS certification
• Experience in Ambulatory OR / Outpatient Surgery
• Proficiency with Epic EHR
• Ability to care for patients across the lifespan
Preferred Surgical Experience:
• Gynecology: hysterectomy, D&C, tubal ligation, laparoscopic GYN procedures
• Orthopedic/Podiatry: ACL repair, arthroscopy, carpal tunnel, joint replacements, foot/ankle surgery
• General Surgery: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, mastectomy, laparoscopic procedures
