Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Patient Account Management (PAM) team on a PRN (as-needed) basis in Woodlawn, United States. As a Unit Based Tier IV PAM RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate patient billing and seamless communication between clinical and financial departments. • Review and analyze patient accounts to ensure accurate billing and coding • Collaborate with clinical staff to gather necessary documentation for billing purposes • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and facilitate reimbursement • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient account management • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding billing and insurance matters • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the billing process • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies • Perform other duties as assigned on an as-needed basis Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Previous experience in patient account management or related healthcare finance role • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical billing software • Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance reimbursement processes • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements • Flexibility to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis • Experience with PRN scheduling preferred Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
