Job Description

**Title** Registered Nurse – Intermediate Critical Care • *Schedule** Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45–07:15) Hours offered: 36 hours/week Weekend requirement: at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule • *Assignment Details** Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week • *Requirements** - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Recent ICU/ICCU experience required - ACLS and BCLS certifications required - Preferred: NIHSS certification - Experience with telemetry, vasoactive drip titration, and ventilated patient care • *Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an intermediate care setting. - Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care planning. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety. - Assess, document, and communicate patient progress and conditions effectively. - Act as a rapid response RN as needed, responding to urgent patient situations. • *Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: 36 hours - EKG testing must be passed prior to start for this specialty - Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required - RTO: No RTO allowed during first week (orientation); auto-approval for up to 7 days RTO (non-holiday)
