Children’s Medical Group has been providing the highest quality Pediatric care since 1947. We are comprised of 3 offices in Atlanta, Johns Creek and Decatur. This position would be located in our Downtown Decatur office at 125 Clairemont Ave, Decatur, GA 30030.
This is a full time position and looking for someone to start immediately. The ideal candidate would have vaccine experience.
Duties Include:
• Prepare patients from birth through 21 yrs of age for well and sick visits by obtaining histories and vital signs.
• Administer immunizations and medications by intramuscular, subcutaneous, intranasal and oral routes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by providers including, but not limited to: ear irrigations, urinary catheters, audiology testing, dressing changes, spirometry, fluid challenges, and breathing treatments.
• Triage nursing phone calls and provide guidance on an as-needed basis.
• Complete paperwork related to medication administration for schools, and sports physical forms.
• Additional duties as required.
Full Time: Monday- Friday, 8:00AM- 5:00PM with 1-hour lunch
Rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM- 12:30PM
Requirements
Qualifications Include:
Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
Experience in an outpatient primary care environment preferred.
Pediatric experience preferred.
Familiarity with computers and other office equipment.
Basic typing and keyboard skills.
Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
