Registered Nurse (RN)
$20,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months. (
• Must have recent PICU exp to qualify*)
Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0
Shift length: 12 hours
Start Time: 1900
Unit: Pediatrics
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): 3-12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends
Required qualifications:
• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• PALS within six (6) months of hire
• PICU experience
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of pediatric experience
Preferred qualifications:
• BSN
• Pediatric certification
Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
