Perioperative 101 Overview
This fast-paced Operating Room (OR) invites you to join us in grey scrubs and develop your nursing skills through our fulltime 6 month periop 101 internship program. You will be training with an OR team made up of interdisciplinary professionals that share a passion for surgery. As you delve into our world of bovies, instrument counts, scopes, steris beds, robots, sterility, intubation and so much more, you will find it is truly a privilege to be the patient advocate on their journey through the surgical experience.
The Meridian OR provides ortho, urology, general, OB/GYN, ENT, Eye surgery, Robotics surgery and plastics services. They also have a call team on staff, so call is very minimal for staff positions. They have 10 OR, 17 Pre Op, 13 Recovery beds.
Schedule:
1.0 FTE (80 hours pe pay period) Monday - Friday 5
(8) hour shifts for at least the first 6 months. Schedule could change to 4 (10) s affer training, based on the surgery schedule. Some call is required once the 6 months training is over - call response time is 30 minutes.

Nursing Degree (BSN or ADN)
Experience:
1+ years RN experience required
Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice BLS certification required- ACLS recommended
