Biweekly Hours: 80.00 Shift: 7a-5:30p Up to $15k Sign On Bonus for qualifying experience! Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for: • Planning, delivering, documenting, and evaluating individual nursing care based on patient needs and provider orders. • Leading and directing nursing personnel in patient care activities. • Observing, assessing, and documenting patient conditions and responses to care. • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation reflecting patient treatment and conditions. • Upholding the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications: • Required: • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school. • Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio. • Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. • Strong knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including biological, physical, and psychosocial sciences. • Familiarity with nursing instruments, equipment, and medical asepsis principles. • Ability to maintain positive relationships with staff and medical professionals. • Good physical coordination and manual dexterity. • PRN and Float Staff must have a minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience. • Preferred: • BSN and specific certifications based on clinical area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP). • Experience in Operating Room, PACU, Psychiatry, Radiology, or Cardio-Pulmonary settings. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Prior supervisory or project management experience. Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the day. • Capability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance and push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance. • Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products.
