Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit in Dearborn, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit Location: Detroit, MI 48202 Duration: 3 Months contract (Possible Extension) Schedule Notes: 7 pm - 7:30 am (3X12/ week, every other weekend, rotation on holidays) Job Summary: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Required Certification & Licensure: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. BLS ACLS
