Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit in Southbury, CT

As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will be part of a collaborative environment, working alongside interdisciplinary teams dedicated to a patient-centered care model. This specialty unit consists of 20 beds, featuring all private rooms for patients requiring complex medical and surgical care—situated between a regular hospital floor and ICU. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager, utilizing evidence-based practices in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. In this role, you will: • Develop comprehensive care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of patients and their families. • Engage in continuous learning and improvement through a supportive work environment. • Utilize advanced technologies, including Electronic Medical Records, to enhance patient care.
