Summary of Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your primary responsibility is to deliver high-standard, holistic nursing care while adhering to health care regulations and best practices. You will also lead and supervise licensed and non-professional staff in providing direct resident care.

Shift:
Full-time, Part-time, or PRN | Day, Evening, or Night shifts available | Rotating weekends
Wage:
$32.00 - $38.80/hr based on experience | $4,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full-time RNs

Essential Job Functions:
• Conduct daily nursing operations per regulations governing long-term care.
• Ensure nursing staff adherence to policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
• Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges with accurate documentation.
• Facilitate orientation for new residents and their families.
• Participate in provider rounds as needed.
• Utilize nursing skills according to residents' care plans and health care instructions.
Communication and Documentation Functions:
• Perform clinical rounds to assess resident care and report significant changes.
• Address concerns or issues with residents and families, escalating as necessary.
• Assist in facility surveys as requested by management.
• May oversee specialized clinical programs as assigned.
• Conduct initial assessments and assist in developing care plans.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding treatment and care plans.
Medication Administration Functions:
• Prepare and dispense medications according to healthcare provider orders.
• Maintain adequate medication supplies and report shortages.
• Review administration records for accuracy, reporting discrepancies.
• Dispose of medications safely and per established protocols.
Personnel Functions:
• Oversee nursing unit operations, ensuring compliance with standards of care.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to manage staff performance.
• Address complaints or grievances and develop action plans for resolution.
Safety and Sanitation Functions:
• Ensure availability of protective equipment and maintain clean work areas.
• Identify and notify management of the nursing department's equipment and supply needs.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Critical Skills:
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow directions.
• Tactful communication with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Capability to work with individuals facing various challenges, including health issues.
• Effective communication skills.
Education and Experience:
• Must meet all state and federal requirements for Registered Nurses.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in good standing is required.
• Preferred: One year of nursing experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position requires oversight of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of care according to established standards, though CNAs/Caregivers will not report directly to the RN.
