Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) - Immediate Offer in Edgartown, MA

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Location: Edgartown, MA Shift: 4 shifts a week, two 12 hours and two 8 hours (40 total) Pay Rate: $60/hour Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, oversee care teams, coordinate with healthcare providers and families, and ensure that all care is delivered safely and compassionately. This is a hands-on role requiring clinical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical Care & Assessment: • Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of complex medical conditions. • Perform regular assessments and document resident health status accurately. Care Coordination: • Serve as the primary point of contact between physicians, therapists, families, and care teams. • Ensure seamless communication and follow-through on care plans. Resident Advocacy & Support: • Empower residents in daily decision-making and promote independence. • Offer emotional support and respect residents’ cultural and personal preferences. Supervision & Leadership: • Lead and support the care team, including nursing assistants, to maintain high standards of care. • Provide mentorship and training as needed. Care Planning: • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans. • Ensure all care aligns with best practices and regulatory requirements Job Requirements: • At least 1 year of nursing and SNF experience required. • Active RN License for the state of MA • Current BLS/CPR Certification from AHA Who We Are?
