Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Float on the Med Surg-Step Down-ED units, where every moment counts in patient care.

The STAR Team, our esteemed Float Pool at Hartford Hospital, is composed of exceptional nursing professionals. Our Registered Nurses are versatile and skilled, adeptly transitioning between different specialties. The Med/Surg group floats among approximately 18 units, including Step Down units, while our Critical Care RNs rotate primarily among six ICUs (MICU, SICU, Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiothoracic ICU). We pride ourselves on our ability to provide personalized, compassionate care, driven by strong communication and teamwork.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Acute Care RN experience; Critical Care experience is preferred.
• Possession of a current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
