Location: Avera McKennan Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement. Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.00 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights Join our dedicated team working 12-hour shifts M-F from 0630 to 1900, totaling 36 hours per week. A Brief Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing care plans, delivering physical and emotional support, and educating patients and families. What You Will Do • Deliver high-quality patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. • Develop comprehensive nursing care plans based on thorough assessments and patient histories. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare requirements, medication, and self-care techniques. • Evaluate patient outcomes against care standards and adjust care plans as necessary. • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control policies and legal regulations. • Document all nursing care services accurately in patient records. • Ensure functionality of patient care equipment through proper maintenance and troubleshooting. • Manage inventory of patient care supplies efficiently. • Stay current with nursing practices through ongoing education and competency development. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to fulfill all essential job functions and communicate effectively. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice is required upon hire. Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
