Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Critical Care Complex - Day/Midnight Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Critical Care Complex - Day/Midnight at Christiana Care summary: Registered Nurse in the Surgical Critical Care Complex providing specialized nursing care for neurosurgical, general surgical, and trauma patients in a Level I Trauma Center. Works in a multidisciplinary team environment at a Magnet designated hospital with opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits. Requires BSN or commitment to obtain, critical care experience, and relevant certifications to deliver high-quality patient care on rotating day and night shifts. Registered Nurse - Surgical/Trauma ICU Christiana Care's Christiana and Wilmington hospitals have received their third Magnet® designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the pre-eminent recognition for hospital systems in the United States! We operate the only Level I Trauma Center between Philadelphia and Baltimore. The Surgical Critical Care Complex (SCCC) is a 22 bed Surgical / Trauma Intensive Care Unit. We have a cohesive Nursing Team who serves patients with a multidisciplinary approach. The Nurses on this unit work with neurosurgical, general surgical and adult/pediatric trauma patients. Requirements: • BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire • Must have minimum 1-2 years stepdown • Critical Care experience strongly preferred • BLS required; ACLS preferred Hours: This is a Day/Midnight rotating schedule of 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Weekend and Holiday schedule is per departmental & organizational practices. Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
