12 Hour Night Shift
Description:
7SW (Surgical & General Trauma Unit): is a 33-bed adult inpatient surgical unit located on the 7th floor occupying the south and west wings. Patient population may include but not limited to the following: Trauma, General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Gynecology and Medicine. 7SW is a semi-private unit. RN works with a PCT. A charge RN is assigned for both shifts to facilitate immediate unit needs and acts as direct resource. Acute nursing care treatment and monitoring modalities include but not limited to periodic vital signs, centralized telemetry, oxygen monitoring, glucose monitoring and wound care. Most common diagnoses and surgical procedures are traumatic brain injury, polytraumas, cholecystectomies, prostatectomies, joint replacements, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) urinary diversions, and other urologic procedures, bowel resections and ostomies.

We seek colleagues with:
• A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
• BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
• 1 year of experience (preferred – we do welcome New Grads!)

BSN Pay Range: $34.76 - $57.06 per hour
ADN Pay Range: $32.31 - $50.71 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
