Overview
The Hospice Triage RN is responsible for evaluating and determining patient and family needs based on phone calls received or made.
This is a REMOTE position, after orientation and training.
• Part Time, every other weekend and two Evening shifts during the week with a Holiday rotation

Our Hospice Triage RN’s :
• The Hospice Triage RN is responsible for evaluating and determining patient and family needs based on phone calls received or made.
• Responsible for triaging patients to the appropriate level of care with the appropriate level of urgency
• Provide assessment, scheduling, clinical guidance, and other clinical services to patients.
• Prioritizes safety, quality, and experience that coincides with the mission of Good Shepard Hospice.
• Understands the needs of patients and offers recommendations, education, or care advice to triage patients and schedule them with the appropriate level of care.
• The Triage Nurse will assign nursing visits accordingly.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Current and unrestricted New York State RN License
Salary Range
USD $27.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
