Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Emergency Room (ER) to join our team. This role is full-time, nights (Monday - Friday) - three 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) . Rotating holidays on-call. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights). It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital - Loudoun County's only designated trauma center. Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes Role model who leads by example in delivering Service Always and in making Patient Experience a priority on unit(s) of responsibility. Ensures that care is patient-centered Values and promotes collegial working relationships within and among discipline Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Emergency Room (ER) Requirements : Education : Bachelors Degree in Nursing; or, Associate Degree RN within one year of completing BSN program Experience : One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse Licensure/Certifications : BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia Training : Inova RN Unit Supervisor and Charge Nurse Training within 3 months of start date Preferred Qualifications: Experience : Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department/Trauma Center with additional charge or supervisory responsibilities. Certification : Specialty certification specific to unit within 1 year; current ACLS and PALS Education : BSN or MSN preferred
