Registered Nurse (RN) – Vascular AccessBring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better Together Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093Work hours: Full/Time Days (10A-10P); 3/12 hours shifts per week; weekend and holiday requirementsVascular Access Department Highlights:· Multi-disciplinary teamwork with providers, staff, and patients/families to provide patient-centered care· Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses applying specialized nursing education and critical vascular access competencies to support patient’s plan of care· Positively impacting patient outcomes through skills and knowledge concerning Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection (CLABSI) preventionHere’s What You Need:· Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or· Associate’s degree in nursing required or· Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred· 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required· Vascular Access experience highly preferred· Vascular Access device insertion including ultrasound guided PIV (UGPIV), Midlines, (ML), and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCS) strongly preferred· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
