Job Summary And Qualifications JOBSUMMARY: We are seeking a Wound Care RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and approved surgical and ambulatory care areas. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will: Demonstrateknowledge and application of the nursing process. Perform andassistwith assessments, interventions, and evaluations for patients with actual or potential wound/ostomy problems. Change dressingfor patients with Vacuum Assisted Closure (VAC) devices. Implementplansofpatientcare. Assistin management of pressure ulcers and other wound/skin problems. Assist the Wound & Ostomy CNSs in quality improvement and clinician education activities related to wound and skin care. Job Requirements: Associates Degree in Nursingor Diploma in Nursing Required,Bachelor Degree in Nursingpreferred Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN licenserequired. Compact license holders have60 daysto obtain the Florida license after relocation. BLS-AHA Provider issued cardrequiredwithin30 daysof start Successful Completion Of The Certification Requirements Forenterostomaltherapy Preferred 3years hospital experience in Acute Care preferred Previous Teaching Experience Preferred HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital.
