Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility Location: 8017 W. Virginia Drive, Dallas, TX 75237 Employment Type: Part-time Shift: Saturday and Sunday 10pm - 6am Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team in Dallas. The RN will provide direct nursing care to residents, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote the highest quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies • Assess resident health status, monitor changes in condition, and document accurately in medical records • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered • Supervise and support LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members • Participate in care planning, resident assessments (including MDS), and discharge planning • Ensure compliance with Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) regulations and federal guidelines • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions • Maintain infection control, safety standards, and resident confidentiality Qualifications • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (required) • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred (new grads welcome) • Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a healthcare team • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Benefits (Customize as needed) • Competitive pay • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off (PTO) • Shift differential • Supportive leadership and team-oriented environment Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents as needed Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at all levels of our organization.
