Registered Nurse School Setting - Anoka, MN in Andover, MN
Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive onsite nursing care in an elementary school setting, covering a maternity leave with a contract running from March 10, 2026, to June 5, 2026. This full-time role involves working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting the health and wellbeing of students.
Location:
• Anoka, MN at Jackson Middle School
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver attentive health services and support to students, working closely with the school community
• Manage and coordinate care alongside a caseload including 1.5 licensed school nurses (LSN) and 1 health paraprofessional
• Provide direct nursing care, assess student health needs, and respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness
Qualifications:
• Current RN license with school nursing credentials preferred
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to student health and safety
