An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in school nursing to provide essential health services at an elementary school located in Clovis, CA. This contract role focuses on delivering nursing support during a nurses temporary leave and assisting with Initial IEP assessments at the preschool level. The position requires approximately 16 hours per week, ideally spread across two full days, through the remainder of the current semester until June 4, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide coverage for a Registered Nurse on leave, supporting student health needs
• Assist with Initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) evaluations for preschool students
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student wellness and manage medical plans
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with families and school personnel

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a background in school nursing
• California School Nurse Services Credential preferred; the district may assist in obtaining this credential if not already held
• Experience working in educational or pediatric settings, particularly with young children
• Ability to work onsite in a cooperative and organized manner
