An opportunity is available for licensed Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide specialized nursing care within K-12 school settings across Bucks County, PA. These contract roles focus on delivering comprehensive healthcare support to students requiring medical assistance during the school day. Locations include Hilltown, Langhorne, and other areas surrounding Doylestown, PA. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Key responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 nursing care for school-age children in educational environments • Manage tracheostomy care, proactive respiratory support, suctioning, and vent management • Administer feeding via G-tube and catheterization as needed • Monitor seizure activity and other medical conditions during school hours • Accompany students during bus transportation to ensure safety and medical oversight Position details: • Position 1 (Hilltown Area): Focus on proactive respiratory care, suctioning, G-tubes, catheterization, plus bus supervision • Position 2 (Langhorne Area): PRN suctioning, tube feeding, seizure watch, plus bus supervision • Position 3: Per diem, itinerant nursing services countywide around Doylestown Qualifications: • Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license as appropriate for the position • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred • Demonstrated competence and comfort with tracheostomy care, G-tubes, ventilators, and student transportation requirements Benefits of this contract role include consistent hours in dynamic school environments where nursing skills directly impact student well-being and education accessibility.
