A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for a Pre-K student at an early childhood school near Berlin, MD. This contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with a young learner with specialized medical needs within a supportive school environment. Responsibilities Include • Providing direct nursing care for a student with an open stoma from a removed tracheostomy. • Administering oxygen therapy PRN and managing tube feedings throughout the school day. • Riding the bus to and from school with the student as part of the care routine. • Collaborating under the direction of the school nurse to ensure comprehensive care. • Maintaining detailed documentation via care logs for medication administration and feedings. Qualifications Sought • Current active RN license or Compact License valid in Maryland. • Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred. • Ability to manage complex medical needs with professionalism and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for coordinating with school staff and families. Location and schedule details: • Position is based in Berlin, MD, approximately 30 minutes from Salisbury. • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week scheduled from 6:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. • Contract length is from ASAP through June 11, 2026.
