Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 nursing care for students with special health needs
• Administer medications, including emergency seizure treatments
• Manage G-tube, J-tube, and NG tube feeding setups using bolus and pumps
• Monitor and respond to seizures, performing emergency interventions as necessary
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning (preferred but not mandatory)
• Support classroom staff by assisting as a classroom aide when the assigned student is absent or does not require care
• Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with education and healthcare teams
Qualifications & Experience:
• Current Illinois RN professional license required; LPNs may be considered under certain conditions
• CPR and BLS certification mandatory
• Minimum of one year nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or special needs care
• Experience with feeding tubes (G-tube/J-tube/NG tube)
• Experience observing seizures and familiarity with emergency seizure medications
• Tracheostomy and suctioning skills are an advantage

• First Assignment: Lisle South Location | January 5, 2026 – May 22, 2026 | 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Second Assignment: Transition Program | ASAP – May 22, 2026 | 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Full-time position within a cooperative providing special education services across multiple districts
