Registered Nurse School Setting in Dover, NH in Berwick (CDP), ME

A school-based nursing professional is needed to support a middle school student with Type I Diabetes in Dover, NH. This full-time contract role spans the academic school year and requires a skilled RN or LPN with specialized diabetes care experience. The position involves working directly with a 1:1 male student, providing attentive health management under necessary supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver diabetes care and monitoring to a middle school student with Type I Diabetes
• Collaborate closely with school staff and the supervising RN (for LPNs) to ensure comprehensive health support
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate any concerns promptly
• Supervise and accompany the student during bus rides to and from school
• Adhere to school hours and bus schedule, generally 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some variations for early release days

Qualifications:
• Licensed RN or LPN in New Hampshire
• For LPN candidates: prior training and experience managing Type I Diabetes required, comfortable working under RN supervision
• Ability to provide individualized health care in a school setting
• Reliable transportation and willingness to supervise bus rides
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
