Registered Nurse School Setting in Minneapolis, MN in Columbia Heights, MN

This contract role offers an opportunity to provide critical health services in an elementary school setting in Minneapolis, MN, covering a maternity leave period from March 10 to June 5, 2026. The position requires a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in school nursing who is prepared to support a caseload including 1.5 Licensed School Nurses (LSN) and 1 health paraprofessional.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver onsite nursing care and health assessments to elementary students.
• Collaborate closely with school staff and health professionals to manage student health plans.
• Administer medications, perform screenings, and respond to health emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and healthcare standards.
• Support health education initiatives and promote wellness within the school community.

Qualifications:
• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience in school nursing or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and school personnel.

Work Details:
