Registered Nurse School Setting in Ocean City, MD in Ocean City, MD

A full-time position is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a Pre-K student at an early childhood school in the Ocean City, MD area. This contract role is scheduled from ASAP through June 11, 2026, and requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 6:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care for a student with complex medical needs, including an open stoma from a removed trach, oxygen support as needed, and tube feedings throughout the school day.
• Accompany the student on school bus rides to and from the school facility.
• Collaborate with the school nurse to ensure proper care and documentation.
• Maintain accurate care logs for medication administration, tube feedings, and any other nursing interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety protocols during school hours.

Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact RN license valid in Maryland.
• Experience working with pediatric patients, particularly in school or early childhood settings.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and communicate effectively with school personnel.
• Reliable transportation to the school and flexibility to manage bus riding responsibilities.

Location Details:
• Positioned in Pocomoke City, Berlin, within a 30-minute commute from Salisbury, MD.
