A Middle School in Marietta, GA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Georgia RN License to provide specialized nursing care for one student with unique medical needs during the current school year. This contract position offers full-time hours, Monday through Friday, supporting the students health and educational experience within the school environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to a middle school student with a G-tube and history of suctioning and seizures. • Develop and implement health care plans in collaboration with school staff and families. • Accompany and provide nursing support on special transportation (bus ride) from approximately 7:30/7:45 AM to 4:00/4:15 PM. • Monitor the students health status and respond to emergency situations as needed. • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions and students health progress. Qualifications and Experience: • Current RN License in the state of Georgia. • Experience working in school nursing, preferably with medically fragile students. • Ability to manage complex health care needs, including G-tube management and seizure response. • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with school personnel and family members. • Commitment to supporting student health and safety in an educational setting.
