A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) is sought to provide specialized care within an early childhood educational setting located in Riverside, CA. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with a young student, supporting their medical needs throughout the school day in a nurturing environment. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care such as suctioning, tube feedings, and respiratory assistance, ensuring the students health and safety. The role involves working five hours daily, generally from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional days off due to student absences. Transportation support is required, assisting the students commute between home and school, which is a short distance away. Collaboration with district-provided supervision personnel such as paraeducators, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs will be part of the daily routine. Qualified candidates should hold a current California RN license, although experienced LVNs may be considered. Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care, particularly within early childhood settings, is highly valued. The ability to perform skilled nursing procedures and manage complex care needs independently is essential.
