
Registered Nurse - Shift Supervisor in St. James, MO
Job Description
Hourly Pay
• $46.18 day shift
• $50.34 evening and night shift
Examples Of Work
• Make rounds on assigned shift in order to direct and evaluate nursing services, monitor work flow, and redefine priorities as needed
• Communicate with the unit manager regarding data collected and pertinent issues related to each unit
• Identify Veterans who are high risk for negative outcomes and communicate to staff at all levels
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Communicate and participate with the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation when indicated
• Oversee the supervision, recruitment, retention, performance management, discipline, clinical instruction, and feedback to the nursing staff
• Give medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Assist the nursing team with Veteran care as needed, which may include lifting
Qualifications
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Missouri – in good standing
• 2+ years of experience as a registered nurse
