Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure high-quality, patient-focused care by assessing, monitoring, and educating patients in accordance with established nursing standards. Collaborating closely with your medical team, you will advocate for patient needs and uphold our commitment to excellence in every aspect of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments upon admission and with each scheduled shift, efficiently updating the care team on condition changes.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer medications as prescribed, with keen attention to documentation and patient response.
• Deliver responsive and compassionate care, anticipating patient needs and addressing them proactively.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Qualifications:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete it within 24 months.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in a high acuity PCU or critical care setting.
