Your Role: As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be at the forefront of enhancing the quality of life for our residents through expert wound management. Here’s what you’ll do:
• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Provide direct care interventions such as dressing changes, debridement, and wound irrigation.
• Monitor healing progress, adjust treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes for optimal recovery.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on effective wound care and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain clear documentation and comply with regulatory standards.

Your Qualifications:
• A valid state RN nursing license.
• A degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, or microbiology is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in wound care management, particularly in Long-Term Care settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based wound care products.
• Certification as a Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Empathy and a genuine interest in caring for elderly and chronically ill patients.
