Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and implement a comprehensive wound care and prevention program for our residents and staff.
• Conduct thorough wound assessments and create individualized care plans for patients with skin complications.
• Provide direct interventions, including dressing changes, debridement, and wound irrigation.
• Review and update wound care policies and ensure their implementation.
• Monitor healing progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on wound care protocols and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain accurate documentation for compliance.

Qualifications:
• Valid RN nursing license.
• Degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, or microbiology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of wound care management experience, ideally in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Familiarity with research-backed wound care and cleansing products.
• Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
