Registered Nurse - Staff Evaluator in Greenwood, IN

This position evaluates the competency of individuals to provide Home Health Aide services in the Help at Home, LLC’s comp lab or in the clients’ home, as allowed. Additionally, this position agrees to complete the HHA competency assessment to meet the requirements of the HHA licensure registry. This will be a contract position, not full-time employment with Help at Home. Required Skills/Abilities • Physicians’ orders-HHA Plan of Care • Documentation/Advance Directives/DNR • Reporting change in patient condition or skin condition/breakdown • Reporting change in body function/Pain Mgt. • Communication skills/ability to read, write, and report clinical info to clients, family and other caregivers • Vital signs - temp, pulse and respirations • Infection control/Hazardous Waste • Recognizing emergencies/Emergency Preparedness • Maintenance of a clean, safe, and healthy environment • Basic elements of body functioning and reportable changes • Grooming (hair, nail, and skin care) Qualifications What You'll Bring: • Ability to work in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner. • Ability to provide personal care for non-ambulatory clients, use a Hoyer lift, maneuver wheelchairs, and transport clients to community events and social activities. • Strong communication skills, oral and written; strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems demonstrating good judgment.
