Registered Nurse (RN) - Sundance Clinic Are you looking for a nursing role where your work truly matters? The Clinic RN will work closely with our providers to coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. Pay: Competitive salary with regular salary increases. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provides nursing care according to physician's instructions and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards, and administrative policies. • Rooms patients and collects vitals. • Ensures accurate charting in the EMR system in accordance with company policies. • Willing to train/perform the following laboratory procedures: venous and capillary blood draws; cultures and other specimens; urinalysis; throat culture; in-house rapid tests such as strep. influenza. pregnancy, etc.; fecal occult blood test; finger-stick glucose. and any other lab requested by medical staff. • Ensures exam rooms comply with OSHA regulations; maintains separate container for medical waste and normal waste; changes bandages; cleans and sterilizes instruments and other supplies; keeps exam rooms stocked of all lab and medical supplies and reorders when necessary: checks all medical equipment to ensure proper functioning. • Receives and conducts medical triage phone calls along with appropriate documentation. • Assists Receptionist with telephone, appointments and other minor office procedures when necessary. • Places referral calls when requested by medical provider. • Will need to travel to other clinics as needed. Qualifications: • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming (or compact state eligibility). Prior clinic experience is preferred.
