Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse Supervisor!
The Registered Nurse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily activities at our nursing stations. This position involves coordinating, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services for each resident around the clock.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with every other weekend on call. Flexible weekdays included in on-call rotation. 8/64 hours per pay period.
SALARY: $72,000 - $79,988 based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Direct and supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Implement and follow VOANS core clinical systems to maintain high standards of care.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules to ensure compliance with prescribed orders.
• Provide direct care when necessary to ensure residents receive prompt attention.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance resident care.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure staff performance meets acceptable nursing standards.
• Engage in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) rounds.
• Facilitate collaboration between nursing services and other areas to ensure seamless resident care.
• Take part in the QAA/QAPI processes and assist in accident/incident reporting.
• Serve as a key liaison among residents, families, healthcare providers, and care teams, ensuring clear communication and attentive documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Prior experience in long-term care as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions independently.
• Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills with staff, families, and providers.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices.
• Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
• Willingness to adapt to flexible work hours.
• Understanding of infection control, OSHA guidelines, and antibiotic stewardship.
• Proven management and supervisory abilities.
• Clinical acumen for assessing residents' physical and cognitive needs.
